Almost certainly your phone is the culprit.

CRV 2019 Apple CarPlay Issues
Just wanted to re-hash this topic. Have a Honda CRV 2019. Anyway Apple car play has stopped working for no reason. Not a cable issue. Has to be either the phone or unit or USB input. Noticed it may of started after a recent Apple update to version 13.4.1. No error messages are displayed on the screen when plugged in, just nothing. I have noticed the phone is still charging however. About to reset the unit to factory settings so will see how this goes and update you from here. Please share if anyone else has recent issue, especially if after latest phone update. Cheers!

Yes Im going to try my wife’s tonight, and with the reset will update with results. Just can’t remember if it happened right after update or a few days later, so can’t exactly pin point that to be the exact cause.
By the way do you know if the head units can get regular updates?

Welcome to the forum! Another thing to check would be the cord. I always keep a spare cord just in case, for testing purposes if nothing else. Make sure it's an actual Apple cord, of course. Keep us posted.

Ok problem solved. I'd say when Apple does updates it may screw around with the permissions (or conflict with Hondas native Android system). So the solutions was just to reset the head unit to factory settings and she worked again. So I'd definitely say the problem was related to the update.
Hate when this happens! Still having email problems on my IPad from an update 3 updates ago!
