My wife told me that the rear end of her 2010 CRV EX (AWD w/150k miles) has been jumping around. Feels like the rear end jumps around, and maybe dips to the right, over bumps. Both jacked it up AND put it up on ramps, but didn't see anything unusual in the front or the back suspension.

Has anyone experienced this, and if so, what was causing it?

Thanks for your help.

ya rear diff service can cause issues.

So can worn out shocks. Shocks dont last forever. 100k is doing good. And you can see it but what you describe is symptoms of a blown shock.

Thanks for the input! I ordered some shocks that should be in tomorrow: I'll let you know what happens.

Shocks did the trick! I should have known that if I couldn't see the problem, it wasn't visible, and you never know whats going on inside a shock.

Thanks very much: I probably spent less on two replacement struts than I would have for just a diagnosis at the dealership!
