Recently i bought a 2015 CRV LX used from a dealer in California. Since i live in Arizona, i went to the dealer in AZ for a problem i encountered. When i press the arming key on the FOB, it only a faint computer beep and does not sound the traditional car horn beep. This is a problem for us old folks because the car horn beep is one way we can use to locate our car when we park it in a large parking area and forget where we parked t. The local dealer looked at it and scratched his head. (partially because i didn't buy the car from him and also because he did not know why it was beeping instead of the horn honking. ) Anybody have an idea of how to get the horn to honk instead of the computer beep? The horn does work when you press the horn button the set off the panic alarm.
