Hello all, new to the threads and need someone's help in figuring this issue out. Purchased a 2001 Crv EX AWD with 107000 miles from a family friend knowing it needed a new transmission. Got a used unit with 50000 miles that I knew worked properly with a new torque converter as well. Swap was easy enough and the unit shifts in drive, reverse, etc as it should. The issue I'm still having however is that while its in drive and I go from a stop its starting in a higher gear and not 1st gear as it should. I can manually select 1st on the gear selector and will shift into that no problem. I'll be opening up the shift solenoid and getting the codes read later on tn but I'd like other opinions. It's driving me crazy because what are the odds a second transmission would have the same issue. Thanks for any help
