my 98 crv has a dash clock thats not working. i got another one same thing, the 4 way flashers work though.

2 questions...where is the fuse for the clock?

is there clocks available for my crv that are guaranteed or can it be repaired?

any help greatly appreciated

I believe that Gen1 clocks can be repaired by owners with soldering skills. A SEARCH of this Gen12 sub-forum should turn up the answer.

Just fix my clock on the 98,it is very easy to do get couple small flat head screw drivers under trim lift up, there are four clips that lift away. I put some tape down not to scuff dash up. Disconnect both plugs clock and flashers, take out. I think there are two screws to remove and back of clock cover. Looking at the little resister and
transistor, you will see three square blocks, check the little solder joints by moving blocks a little, one or all might be broke. Re-solder, clock works great ! Hope that helps !
p.s. use very thin solder and gun.
