I have recently purchased an '04 CR-V and am trying to get the center pocket out to repair the drop down door. I have removed the stereo trim and the rear screw but it seems to be hung at the bottom. Any suggestions? Also, I have a dash light out and was thinking about replacing with LED's. Has anyone done this? Where can i get them? Thanks.

Only thing holding in the pocket with the hinged door under the stereo is the screw in the back behind the small panel. Use a hook tool to pull it off and your good to go. It may be stuck a bit so just apply firm pressure and work it out side to side should pull it loose. I would not use anything to pry it off unless its a non marring plastic pry tool.
Stereo trim not need to be removed to get this out.
Keep at it, it can be a bitch but it will come. I had to repair the door on mine too. Hinge on the left side wast working right it was popping out a bit.

Cheers

A follow up, I had to use a trim tool to lift the bottom slightly to get it over the climate control panel. Once I did that it came right out.
