Help? I've read so many articles about running lights, but they are preceeded by multiple years, multiple trims, and nothing to fit my 2022 CRV-EX. I thought sure my 2022 CRV-EX should have daytime running lights, but I'm not finding them.

Help please? And thanks.

Daytime Running Lights
The parking/daytime running lights come on when the following conditions have been met:
• The ignition switch is in ON (w*1.
• The headlight switch is AUTO, OFF* or .
• The parking brake is released.
The lights remain on even if you set the parking brake. Turning off the ignition switch or setting the power mode to VEHICLE OFF will turn off the daytime running lights.
The daytime running lights are off once the headlight switch is turned on, or when the headlight switch is in AUTO and it is getting darker outside.

I saw that, but then stopped when I saw *The headlight switch is AUTO,OFF .... well, which? Auto or Off? So should I put my light switch on AUTO, leave it there? And the running lights will always be on while the engine is running?

I have always used "Auto" for my DRL. In this manner, I get the same performance regardless of the conditions outside. The only minor concern is that when passing through a dark area, like a parking garage, the full lights will come on. Other than that, the "Auto" setting works for me. I also leave the fog lights turned on, again to maintain the same level of performance. The only difference I've done is put yellow LEDs into the fog lights.

DRLs are on whenever the car is powered ON with switch set either to OFF or AUTO. DRLs are off when headlights are ON (either because headlight switch is set to ON, or headlights came on because it got dark with switch in the AUTO position).

My bike has tailights and headlights on all the time as with any bikes made in last 15+ years.. I normally just leave the headlight switch turned on all the time on the car which also leaves the tailights on. Our daytime running lights in Canada are similar to in the US but taillights will not be illuminated. My headlamps will shut off once I close the doors and being led, they are low current draw anyway.

Well darn, while DRL is fine for whatever, but not the local holiday light show at Christmas. They want all lights off so everyone can enjoy the show.
Does anyone know if there is a fuse to pull that will shut them off without throwing codes?

If you just want to sit in the car with the engine running, start it with the parking brake on and drl should not run. Have not checked this but simply turning the light switch to the off position and releasing may shut them off while stopped.

Damn. Us in the USA and select Auto or not.

It looks like I need to hear from someone in the USA, driving a 2022 CRV-EX.
auto is for your headlights to come on when its dark
All crvs 2017 and up drl run when cars started. You can disable them if the car is stationary for a drive in mode but since you get an insurance credit for them you cant disable

The headlamp switch should be in the Auto position. That will give you DRL's.
Not sure if your trim level comes with it, but there might be a secondary rotating switch for the fog lamps that's also on the turn signal stalk. If turned on, they will illuminate when your low beam head lamps are illuminated.

Hi, how can you tell your DRLs are on from the dash? (2022 CR-V hybrid)
Say you push the lights mode selection stem forward to its momentary 'OFF' position a few times, and are not sure what state they are currently in?
Is there any indicator that shows this to the driver, without you having to get out of the vehicle to confirm?
