Just to the H emblems off my 2015. Found the front has a metal piece. I ended up coloring it with a black paint marker and 3m taping new emblems in the area (if anybody wondered what it looked like)

All 3 of my vehicles are de-badged. IMO, you have to be selective on what badges to remove. I left the "H" in the front of my CR-V because of what the OP found and because of the indentation that the rear emblem sits in. The "CR-V" and "AWD" emblems I removed from the rear. It makes it a lot easier to wash and wax and also is a cleaner look IMO.I never "got" the debadging thing? What is the appeal?
I ask that sincerely and not judgementally.
