Sorry if this is a naive question. There aren’t many 2019 CR-Vs out yet near me. If a dealership has to get one that is a different color from somewhere else, does the destination price go up? I’m assuming it would, but thought I’d ask.

Dealerships will charge you if they have to transfer a vehicle from one dealership to another.

I think that's more a 'may' or 'may not' thing Coastie05, totally depends on the dealership. Out here in CA where Honda dealers are located within miles of each other, they may be a little more willing to work a trade for nothing in order to keep a deal in house.

Yea you're right. I guess the dealerships I have dealt with haven't been easy to work with.

My dealer drove 1 1/2 hour from the shop to pickup my new CR-V at no extra charge.

Destination charges, along with everything else, are negotiable. If you don't want to pay more, just say so. If they say no to that, just tell them that's okay, you'll just go to where the car is and buy it there. Then watch them scramble. Until you buy, you have all the leverage. All of it, that is, except what you give them. And you don't have to give them any.
