Does anybody’s HVAC blower blow at low speed?

I am having issue with my HVAC . The blower fan, even at max setting, blows at low speed. Max Blower speed should be guzzling loud like my other cars, but I can barely hear it sometimes.

My Honda guys says, wait for it, “it is operating as designed. It is supposed to be quiet so as not to interfere with the passengers’ conversations. Other CR-Vs do the same.”

Do your blower fan blow at low speed too at max fan speed?

HI fan speed (7 I believe) roars pretty good.....LO fan speed is very quiet.

AUTO mode controls fan speed automatically.....using the fan speed up/down buttons changes the system from AUTO to MANUAL control.

The high fan speed is pretty soft. I manually increase fan speed but still not much roar like my 2007 odyssey or even the 2016 civic I traded for this. Just want to know if other CR-V do the same.
If you took it in and they said it's normal, have them prove it.
Guess my hearing is better than others......HI fan speed has a pretty good roar, not soft, especially in recirculate. What it sounds like to one's ear, compared to other vehicles, is highly subjective. The fan CFM moved seems adequate.

If anybody thinks the Hi speed is quiet or soft they need to get hearing aids. The thing is so loud and powerful that I find it almost unusable. I typically set mine to the #2 setting and that works fine most of the time and it's almost silent.

Same here and my hearing is not too good!
