Had a rattle and low rpms, especially when cold. Had tsb applied for heater core clamp and voila. The forward right corner of my dash vibrates/rattles when you go over bumpy roads. Have any of you noticed this?
I have yet to experience a rattle in my 2017. I'd know if I did.. because I am very sensitive to any form of rattle or squeaking and will obsessively track it down. My wife's 2018 Accord had one, and when I tracked it down.. it was an item she had in her glove box, which I simply put into a ziplock and put it back, no more rattle. The forward right corner of my dash vibrates/rattles when you go over bumpy roads. Well except for all of the plastic molding on the exterior. Hell you can pull the door plastic off by blowing a kiss at it.nope...this car is very well put together. Everything is nice and tight.
Yeah but that is kind of intentional. In the old days they made bumper covers out of chrome and they would get dented by the slightest accident and were very expensive to fix and so most owners almost always just ended up spending something like $700+ on a new bumper. Today they just keep the same heavy steel bar but cover it over with cheap plastic. If it gets damaged it's like $100-$200 to replace it and the owner can do it themselves. Same thing with the grill and tire guards. They know this stuff is going to get damaged in an accident even if they made it out of steel so they just make it to be sacrificial and cheap.Well except for all of the plastic molding on the exterior. I get what you are saying but the trim on the rear doors comes off just opening and closing the back seat doors.Yeah but that is kind of intentional.
