I have an oil leak at my VTC. Since I have to remove the belt tensioner to get to it I'm going to do a bunch of maintenance at once. Below is what I plan on doing in order.
  1. Remove leaky Power Steering Pump & Rebuild with new seals
  2. Remove Belt Tensioner & Belt
  3. Install new OEM VTC Strainer Gasket
  4. Install new OEM PCV Valve
  5. Clean/Degrease Engine
  6. Install new OEM Crank Oil Seal
  7. Install brand new Tensioner
  8. Install rebuilt P/S Pump
  9. Install new brand Serpentine Belt
Is there anything else I might want to replace while I'm in there that is more accessible with these parts off? I have a 2004 CRV 2WD LX with 125k that I got about 6 months ago... Pretty sure nothing has been replaced/serviced. I've been busy updating a bunch of things on it and going over what it needs.

This is my CRV:

Clean the egr ports on your intake manifold and the egr valve itself. If those port holes on the manifold clog up, it will cause a misfire and have driveability issues upon acceleration.
Good stuff, I will definitely add this to my list. This is the kind of stuff I was looking for!
