I thought the foam stuff wasn't compatible with TPMS sensors that are mounted in the wheel?
On the gen5 CRV.... there are NO sensors in the wheel. Honda did away with them in favor of a passive system based on wheel spin differential measurement.

But for any vehicle with active TPMS sensors.. yes, you are correct.

In the UK on the 5th Gen CR-V, the system is known as Deflation Warning System (DWS).

Pretty sure its the same in the US and elsewhere too. TPMS is overhyped and another thing aching to go "wrong".

Excellent stuff here (in my opinion). Please keep it coming. Avoiding hybrid because of lack of spare tire. But the car sounds cool. Problem, wife and I take couple vacations every year 500 - 700 miles, and in areas very remote.

Hey, going to say this for at least the third time: Toyota could include a spare, why not the "excellent??" engineers of Honda.
Thanks all for all opinions, Acadia
