Hi, I have a CR-V 2007 with electric steering servo where the steering gear is slack (sounds bad at bumps), it's not the steering joints says the workshop.
Does anyone know what usually breaks down in these, is it possible to change bushings or does the steering gear need to be changed as a unit?
I find it hard to find something on Google like an exploded sketch or where to buy parts.
Very grateful for tips :)

Welcome to the forum! There is no electric steering componentry in any earlier generation CR-Vs that I am aware of, as it only just came along in the last couple of years. The "servo" is a hydraulic power steering pump. Are you talking about the steering rack?
