Latest edition of Consumers reports has an article on oil usage. It stated that because of usage between oil changes , there has been a change been made for the 2010 & 2011 CR-V. They state and it is now 8 years and 120,000 miles on the engine. Is this verified by Honda?

It could be a TSB. (Technical Service Bulletin)

I happen to read C.R. about 2007-2011 A/C Clutch warranty extension 7 years or 100,000 miles. Oddly enough shortly after reading it, my A/C stopped working on my 6 year old CRV and sure enough I got it fixed for free.

Every time I see something like that in a magazine, I take a picture with my iPhone and keep it for future reference, and in this case it came in handy.

I think I recall reading that oil change usage for 2010-2011

I went to the dealer, they told me to come in when the check engine light comes on. Doesn't make sense, I'm deaf and I don't hear what's going on
