Hi,

Yesterday, when joining the motorway and putting my foot down our Honda Crv came up with an engine light and went into limp mode.

I bought a computer today and the car had 2 error codes, P2552 & P0087.

I am lead to believe that the P0087 could be a result of a clogged fuel filter, as the service is probably due. I have bought the parts to do the service, but don't understand why the other code would have came up to, P2552.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Petrol CR-Vs don't have fuel filters, they are part of the pump.

P2552 is an issue with the throttle and fuel inhibit circuit...Hmmm. Perhaps you should look into that first.

Thank you for your reply.

This is a diesel. Just ordered all bits to do service which it needs regardless.

Guessing if the filter was blocked it would set of the throttle/fuel circuit error, more likely vice versa?
