I'm concerned about possible surprise repair bills (especially given all the electronic gadgets) when my 2017 CRV goes out of warranty. Searching the web, if I understand things correctly (and I'm not sure I do), Honda does not appear to have its own extended warranty. One must go to a 3rd party. I wonder if anyone could provide recommendations. Thank you.

I had a 2014 CR-V. I purchased the Honda warranty from a dealer out of my state I'm in NJ ( Hyannis Honda in Ma.) I paid $610.00 for a 7 year-or 80,000 mile contract with a $100.00 deductible. It was much lower in cost than the exact same warranty that the dealer was trying to sell me. I have just purchased a 2020 Cr-V and I got a quote of $625.(price increase) no big deal. I don't know what they will charge for a 2017
Thanks for your suggestion. Can you name the dealer?
