Hello everyone!
I purchased my first ever Honda on 2/29/20; leap year. Prior to this I was driving a 2005 F-150 and hit "379,130" miles before and without any warning she threw a rod; I'm guessing. Anyway, this forced me to look for another vehicle and doing so under great stress and not a lot of time to research many options.
I started looking at older Honda's because they were known to be reliable, fit my price range better, and everyone I knew who owned one said they had minimal issues with them.
I test drove them all it seemed and I settled on a "2008 Honda CR-V 4wd". It was a great compromise between still having the needed cargo space my truck had and increased comfort and fuel efficiency of a car. There are a few things about it that I am not sure about but I will put that in a different post; sounds and such.
I was so pleased to see such a big community around this vehicle. Everything from your daily driver to full blown custom and racing CR-V's; quite amazing.
This concludes my opening post and I hope to learn a lot from you all and one day be able to pay it forward to another member.
Thanks again,
TEAK
