Getting ready to install an FM bypass unit, probably the iSimple IS31 on our new CRV. It will create an AUX port for my digital Walkman and portable XM receiver.
The bypass installs inline with the cars FM antenna and injects the programming over an FM frequency that you choose.
Has anyone done this on a 2017-2019 CRV?
Checked for the needed antenna adapters however there are no specific references to 2017-19 adapters. Would the adapters for the earlier model years work?
Thanks in advance.

You must have a better option, like Bluetooth. FM transmitters have horrible bandwidth.
The idea behind the FM bypass is to improve the quality of the feed to the FM signal. The over the air FM transmitters work to a degree but when you use them in a metro area they are basically unusable due to the interference from local stations. So that is why the FM bypass is more useful.
