Hi all, my first post. I've done a search but can't find any info on this.

Just bought a 2006 CRV and love it. But I've just noticed it has a hump on the driver's side footwell in line with the clutch pedal. This is a right hand drive UK model. Is this normal? I spoke to a dealer and he said they all have it. Seems strange to me as the hump is quite pronounced. On a left hand drive car the hump probably isn't there?

Perhaps someone jacked it up from the wrong place?

I caved in an accord floor once doing that :)
Thanks for the reply. But it is not damage. It is part of the construction of the monocoque.

Just seems a strange design it corresponds to where the pipe/cat is under the car.

Can anyone with a right hand drive CR-V tell me more?
