I am changing the front pads and rotors on my 2010 CRV LX. I removed the pins that the calipers attach to that are in the caliper mounting bracket. I attempted to reinstall the pins after greasing them, but the pin B with the rubber collar on the bottom continues to push out, possibly due to air pressure caused by the rubber collar. Is this OK? Is there a way to "bleed" the air out? Is there a technique to install the pin without getting air trapped? Any help will be appreciated.

If only **one** pin pushes out from residual air pressure, then you need more hi-temp grease in the OTHER pin!

The pressure will equalize as soon as you start driving, no worries.

More grease = more resistance to binding and sticking.
