I hope someone can help me with a problem on my CR-V I bought it in december and driving it back I found that when I got to over 50 mph it started shaking from the front end, mainly felt through the body but also in the steering. I checked for faults and found the nearside upper ball joint was worn out and the inner driveshaft joint on that side had play in it. Great I thought that will be the problem, but after replacing both it has moved to over 60 mph. If you increase the speed up to 75 mph it has just about gone. It has differant tyres on the front than on the back and I have been advised on another Honda forum that it needs to have all four matching and this could be the problem. Before I spend out on four new tyres I would like to know if that is correct.

I have also read that there are known problems with propshaft balance as well, could this have anything to do with it?
