My CRV is a 2011 with 60,000 miles. The front pads need replacing but it seems that the rear pads are like new. I've had the car 3 years and never replaced either set.

Why would the rear pads be like new?

Thanks!

Because most of the braking power is up front. Very normal although I got 70k+ out of mine. Go with OEM replacement pads and keep on keeping on.

If your in Canada, I’d highly recommend Maxbrakes.com over OEM. They have rust prevention built in, so the rotors last much longer, and they are high quality for a cheap price. Free delivery to your door.

If your not in Canada, too bad for you! ;o)
