I have a 2015 CRV Touring with 22,000 miles on it and I took it to my mechanic and he said I needed to get fuel injection cleaning service done. Is this normal or just a add on charge from the mechanic?

If your Miles per Gallon is about the same for the same time each year - no cleaning is needed.

If your engine idles bad or your MPG has dropped by more than 3 MPG for the time of year - yes fuel injectors need cleaning.

Winter fuel always gives fewer MPG than Summer fuel blends.

Fuel injection or fuel induction? The induction cleaning is way more important at this time due to those engines being Direct Injection. I wouldn't worry about the injectors just yet.
