I searched but all I found was some older threads. I want to put a fumoto valve on my V when I do the first oil change. I know it takes the F-106 but does anyone know if I would need one of the adaptors?

NO adapter needed on the CR-V. I just put one on my 2009...I used the valve with the pipe nipple on it so you can side on a hose and run the oil right into your waste bottle with no mess.

The oil filter "Just" clears the pipe nipple. You still have some "mess" when you take the filter off.

Thanks ammolab. I wasn't sure and the website is kind of vague about whether it's needed or not. I have one on my Toyota and it's the only way to go, it makes changing the oils so much easier!
