I haven't stumbled on a video or post that shows how to replace the rear shocks (struts) on a Gen 4 CRV. Watched a video for a Gen 3 and assume it's not too different from that process, which seems pretty involved. One thing not mentioned in the video - do you need a rear and 4-wheel alignment done after the rear struts are replaced? I ask because the local dealer has given my wife a price but no details, so I need to ask for some details.

My Gen 4 developed a front-end rattle at low speeds. Front sway bar link pins and strut boots were shot, at 91K mi. To install new sway link kits and struts, I lifted the lid of my tool box and reached for my VISA card and the job was completed during the day today by the local repair shop.
4-wheel alignment is sort of a cure all for a lot of ailments when the car doesn't track nicely.
