Hello all,
Just bought this 03 EX AWD w 128k yesterday from a private seller and have to say, Absolutely loving it!!! Besides the tolls of being 16 years old it was kept in great great shape. Everything appears to be original so I'm planning on doing fluid changes (trans and rear diff.) and anything else you all can recommend. I always wanted a V and enjoy the outdoors including kayak fishing (hence my name!) so hoping to keep this long-term as my hauler. Thanks in advance!

Hello All! (again I suppose?)

Allow me to reintroduce myself. Been away since last Fall, with quite the eventful hiatus. My 03, unfortunately, was in a single-car collision with a small tree...the tree won :( Distracted driving at under 15mph, luckily no one was hurt but I took total loss on the V (liability insurance only) :/ Given the short time I had I stripped whatever I could and junked it sadly. Having had it for only 5 months and dozens of parts I had yet to install I was determined to restore balance and order in the V-Void I had found myself in. Came across this 04 with similar mileage (131k) and condition and pulled the trigger. Looked like all it needed was a new passenger side mirror and a large windshield crack repaired/replaced. Replaced that mirror, front brake pads, performed an auto trans drain/fill 3 times and had to change a faulty alternator and battery after it was overcharging and cooked the battery. However, have mostly spent the last several months chasing a passenger side oil leak. Tried the VTEC solenoid gasket myself but ultimately had a shop look at it and replace the main seal, oil pressure switch, and VVT solenoid, quite the leak I will say. The 04 has a clean engine but seeing a tow-hitch was installed I figured it was used for towing and driven hard most likely. Fingers crossed the leak does not show again! Have several other scheduled maintenances to planned to perform since I had the parts for the 03 but I am definitely feeling closure on the V-Void!
