Welcome to the forum! I am also 68, but my '07 is my first CR-V, though not my first Honda. Sounds like a nice new ride! Got any pictures? We love pictures. Interesting about the storage drawer. My '07 EX-L has it, with heated leather seats. In '08 it was replaced by a subwoofer if you had one of those optional stereos. I just retired from a lifetime of truck driving, so no need to drive a lot of miles any more. Yea! Keep us posted on how you like it, and have fun! Also, be safe.

Hello! I'm happy to have found this CRV Owners Club site! I am a 68 yo female road warrior. I have a 2017 CRV EXL, which I leased new in Feb. 2017. This is my 4th CRV, and counting.
My 1st CRV was a 2005 EX, purchased new. It was the very 1st one in Indianapolis to have the side body panels, which I had the dealer install. I totally loved that vehicle. I also had the dealer install leather seats, fog lights, and front mud flaps. Back then these options didn't come in the EX model, but the dealer could add them. My favorite feature of the 2005 was the hidden storage drawer under the front passenger seat. I really wish Honda could find a way to bring back that feature and still be able to have heated front seats. I was told the reason the drawer was eliminated is because that is where the box for heated seats must go.
My next next CRV was a 2010, also a new purchase. In 2014, which I leased a new 2014. Next February I will lease a new 2020. I put on a boat load of miles each year so I continue to lease. When I retire I will move away from leasing. Instead, I will purchase a new CRV, as I will not be putting on so many miles.
