Hello - just purchased our 2015 Honda CRV touring about a month ago. As I was leaving the car, I used the key fob to lock it. I must have hit it a couple times ?? And the car started up automatically…?!I do not have the remote that has "engine" on it. Just lock, unlock, trunk.

I have been able to start it automatically a few times by Hitting "lock."

My husband keeps mocking it and saying that the gremlins are coming out. :/

Nothing in my manual about remote start (only if you have remote start key fob.)

Any thoughts?

Take it to the dealer and show them what it's doing. If you don't have remote start on your key fob then there's a problem.

Was a remote installed after market ?
Dealer may be able to tell from the wiring of the car.
