Do they have ignitors built into the headlight? Was it cut from ignitor to the car.

if so you might have to buy a aftermarket hid kit then fab to the new lights and wire up using the existing harness.
As for drl you need a drl relay if yiur car didnt have one previously (not sure uk specs)

make sure you have right fuses etc dont fry harnesses since your are installing lights not meant for the car

Rhis should be researched BEFORE you order and start a project

Igniters? They are ballasts. I ordered the lamps and was assured that they were the correct ones for my 2007 Exec. As the load feed for the units are given on them, including the HID ballast, and they are all 12v 10amp I can see no problem with excessive current loads. I have tested the units on a protected power supply with a ammeter and voltmeter to reassure myself that there are no overloads. Thanx for trying anyway.
