Welcome to the forum! Since '07 the CR-V has been based on the Civic platform, so CR-Vs are very similar to Civics, just with more room. My previous Honda was a Civic, and I chose my CR-V because of that experience. So read on, and if you wind up with a CR-V, blame me if you like!

More room, 4wd, more power, no ass dragging on the ground lol. I used to have a Civic years ago as well. Great car when your single but useless once you have a family lol. CRV does everything I need it to since I don't need to tow heavy trailers.

Yeah, I'd forgotten that. When I first got my '91 Civic Wagon, it felt like a go cart, it was so close to the ground. Handled like one, too. Made me a little nervous in traffic. But once I got used to it I loved it.
