You are right about the ambient lighting, the Touring model has lots of things that light up at night. There is another thread about this, something about needing to do the brightness adjustment at night when the light sensor is active. Otherwise you might need to reset the HU or reset the system by pulling the negative battery cable.
Help with some issues after yesterday's fix.
Hi;
I had the fix done yesterday for the oil, etc. Service bulletin.
Today, my dashboard light does not dim/brighten by turning the trip dial.
The backlit lights on my steering wheel for speed control, telephone,etc. not working.
I'm almost positive that they were lit prior to this.
2018 crv touring.
Only time will tell if oil, etc. better.
Any help appreciated.
