Moved to the Gen2 section.
I just replaced mine also worked fine and next day did same thing .keep driving or replace it again some parts sit a long time and become bad. Mine stopped after driving 10 miles or so check your plugs on the vvt solenoid and clean them if problem persists I would replace the vvt I have a couple of new ones.Hi, I hope this is the correct area to post this?
I recently had the P2646 code on my 2004 Honda CRV.
I replaced the entire spool valve assembly - part number 15810-RAA-A03 Vtec Solenoid Spool Valve & Oil
pressure Sensor.
I then changed the oil and filter with the recommended oil weight.
Reset the code and went for a drive.
The engine light came on again, the car started to buck and lose power again when trying to
accelerate over 3k rpms. Car drives fine until you reach 3k rpms then struggles.
Anything else i could try/replace/clean?
Thanks. Mike.
