Recently bought ourselves a 2009 CRV 2.2D with 50,000 miles on the clock. A bit of a change from the 118d BMW we had before, but it's nice to have a bit of room

I'm a bit OCD with having a clean car, and the only problem I've encountered so far is that I can't reach the middle of the roof without a step ladder ....suppose it's because I'm a bit vertically challenged :D

History wise I had a 2005 petrol CRV auto a few years back but found it a bit thirsty.....the latest one is much nicer .

Look forward to spending a bit of time on here finding stuff I never realised I needed or things to do that I didn't realise needed doing

Is it an i-DTEC (as they came in 2009) or is it an i-CTDI?

Welcome!
I have a post going for when I wash ours.
Don't feel bad, I need a stool to reach the center of the roof too when I dry it off.
I use a long scrub brush to wash it with so no need at that point.
I'd really like to experience driving a diesel CR-V someday.

Really happy with the 2.2 Diesel, but getting 38-40 (UK) mpg which is nowhere near quoted ... Still fine for a big motor.
