I have a 2010 Honda CR-V with a little over 200,000 miles on it. My ownership of it has consisted over 130,000 miles, mainly highway and at high speeds daily. I have changed the oil no more than every 4,500 miles. If it goes longer than that, I feel guilty. I probably should have used Honda Genuine Oil, but I used Mobil 1 every time with ether the economy blend, the 10,000 mile blend, or rarely, the 20,000+ mile blend and fram filters. I changed the transmission fluids before 30,000 miles because I did so much highway driving.

The photo I have attached is of it's average gas milage on the highway (going up steep hills at that) showing 26 mgp average. It's advertised was 27 mpgs. Good for it's day for an SUV. I need to get the VTC cold-start clanking fixed at the dealership, but other than that it runs great and is a trustworthy and dependable car. Vehicle Measuring instrument Car Speedometer Auto part

340,000 km 211,000 mi

I have a 2003 CR-V XL with 340,000 km on it. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia complete with heat, cold, ice and snow, and salt in the air, and for the last couple of years it's been my daily driver/workhorse. Motor is reliable and relatively quiet. A bit of occasional minor valve noise at idle but nothing serious. I've replaced rear shocks, lower ball joints, exhaust components and other items as needed. Nothing major for the mileage. The check engine light occasionally tells me my O2 sensors are not new and the air intake valve needs service. When I reset the OBD light, some times it will go for several hundred km without illuminating. Not a big deal in my books. Until recently I was contemplating getting a new vehicle, but have now decided to go for another set of tires and another winter at least. If/when it explodes, it will not have owed me anything and, other than some probable inconvenience, will have been the highest mileage vehicle of the 46 I have owned. It's an excellent piece of automotive architecture and a tribute to Honda. A tough act to follow. The pic shows the outside temp as 29C.

Planning a lift spacers from Aerogenics and some tires soon. I still daily this crv. It was originally an ex, but I painted the bumpers to match an se. much love for these cars.

'99 CRV EX original owner 213K miles

My '99 recently had extensive worn parts repairs, and is running like new again!
Initially I had decided to donate after buying a new HRV, but instead invested in restoring the CRV.
Body, interior, performance, and all features operate properly! Only original change was replacing factory radio/cassette with a bluetooth stereo/cd (in dash mount).
Interior fabric must have been made of super-strength nylon material, as NO wear is detectable anywhere! Can't say the same for the 2018 HRV that shows all dirt marks and is difficult to clean/maintain.
Deciding now about selling this '99, as we also have an '03 Element and the new HRV to garage this winter.
