I want to see your high mileage rides. I have a 2003 V it now has 171,899 miles and going strong.

My 2001 CRV SE has 297,657 miles.

Original engine, original transmission, original head gaskets.
Her bones rattle a bit, but her motor still purrs.

Type of gas used: anything, anywhere except diesel.
Type of oil used: any type of motor oil.
I do change all the fluids every 2 years - differential included.
Oil changes, once per year.
Spark plug, wires, and distributor cap change every 5 years.
Timing belt change every 100,000 miles.
Tire and brake maintenance as needed.

That's about it.

It's a shame the new ones look like miniature eggs.

She's a fantastic car.

I have this beast:

Land vehicle Vehicle Car Sport utility vehicle Mini SUV

She is a 1995 JDM, quite posibly one of the oldest ones about but relatively low mileage for her age at 155500 miles on the clock. I've not had her long (since April) but she has not been the most reliable of rides in that time.

Everything points to it not being looked after so so well in the later years of it's life, plus she was and it's safe to say that shows, so far I've had to do the water pump (& every belt & seal to get to it), new thermostat, new radiator and, unfortunately, I'm now almost 90% certain I'm going to have to do the head gasket too...

She's also had a new ignition coil, complete distributor too (the coil let go on a dual carriageway), and now requires the diff fluid changed judging by the rather horrible noises that have recently started up in the back... And the exhaust is both welded & seemingly made up from exhausts from 3 different cars & a piece of scaffolding pole...

For the moment she is however limping along, soon to be laid up for the winter while I fly south for work.

Hopefully no more of this in the meantime...

2005 loaded SE with 226K. Original engine and trans. Just 3 weeks back I replaced front struts, stabilizer links front and back. Now if I can just get those *&^% lower shock bolts out to put the rear shocks in I'll be happy. ( WHY Honda, WHY did you design this thing like this?)

Also this week, PCV valve and hose, top trans and engine mount. Sway bar bushings. All original. Dealer serviced since day 1. After 219K I started doing my own basic services since I'm about to retire. But she is still quiet, new suspension is comfy and soft with a fairly firm cornering feel. After market, not Honda. Lived all her life in Midwest snow and Salt, very little rust at all with the exception of the original bolts. Having a cheap china made Induction heater has saved my bacon so many times on this car so far.

I keep her clean. Heated seats still work great, no rips except the driver seat armrest which I am about to replace. I can see another 100K on this old girl without much issue! Not a bad sound or shift anywhere. Needless to say, I've been quite happy. She has had her little electrical gremlins, right high beam, headlight stalk, nothing major though.

Previous owner made it exactly 11 miles past 300k and it promptly died on the side of the road, and he immediately gave up on it, so it came to me for free. 3 quarts of oil and its running pretty nice for me so far, I'll get the valve cover gasket changed so it doesn't run out of oil and see how far we get.

2011 CRV EX 207,000 miles, always maintained according to mileage minder. If it's broken or in need of repair fix it, immediately. 1-Repairs made, front and rear struts replaced (always use Honda Genuine. Learned the hard way. Used TRQ and very noisy. Removed and installed HG. Expensive lesson.) 2-AC Compressor Clutch ( If performed by self it can save you a ton of money. Most repair shops will claim to replace the compressor.) 3- Power Steering Pump ( Didn't flush often enough). 4-Serpentine Belt and Tensioner. 5-Complete Stainless Steel Exhaust, from #1 Cat back and Denso Co 2 and Oxygen Sendors. Ready for another 200,000 miles ?

Hi folks 2009 EX 4WD 262,200 3 batteries three serpentine belts 1 alternator 2 starters runs like it champ! The best car we have ever owned period end of paragraph. We are considering a new car for the future. We see other manufacturers car, oh they look nice, but will they last like the Honda? probably not oh did I mention we can hang meat in our car AC still works amazing. Every device that runs on a combustible engine in my household is a Honda, Motorcyle Goldwing, power washer Honda 5.5 HP GVC, Sears push lawn mover that’s right Honda 5.5. I’m a proud American 🇺🇸I would like to buy American but until we can build a reliable vehicle like this I’m sticking with HONDA...
