Hi,

It's time to change coolant on my car. At this time i have the green one (factory) and i see that Honda has blue color now. It's ok to drain/refill (mixing) these or flushing first? Are those compatible?

Thank you.

Your profile lists a 2007, so that car should have come with the blue Honda TypeII coolant from the factory. (Factory fill since 2002)

Some green coolants (specifically, the commonly-available Prestone) say "all makes - all models- compatible with any color". But, these coolants don't recommend extended replacement intervals when you mix.

Use Prestone, the antifreeze specifically designed for the sophisticated engines in today's cars and light-duty trucks. For any car or light-duty truck. Works with any color antifreeze. Will not void warranty. Up to 5 years or 150,000 miles of protection.**
Note the **....

Other coolant makers (such as Zerex) have specific formulations for different automakers (USA, European, Asian).
