Trying to find a way to lock doors while running. I have seem some advice. The manual key idea to lock doors didn’t work. Lowering the window , reaching in and locking door , activate the auto window closing button works except for one small detail. The car was locked and running but I was unable to unlock ! $42 for a tow truck to unlock. Key fob didn’t unlock , manual key didn’t unlock.

Do you want a procedure to LOCK or UNLOCK the doors while running?

It seems as if you

1. want a procedure for locking the doors while warming the car up?

Or

2. want a procedure to unlock the doors if you use the windows down then up method.

Pls clarify...

On my 16 Touring, I programmed the car to lock once in Drive and moving then unlock (all doors) when going into Park.
If you don't have the owners manual in paper, Honda has it online for you to download.
