I was wondering if Honda Sensing has ever been updated, or are we are still using the original 2 or 3 year old technology? In the age of rapid computer advancements, I'm sure that technology has continued to improve... but has Honda Sensing? Inquiring minds want to know.....

Not from Honda. We will likely never see an update unless there is a safety issue. Probably not even then.
If you want real changes, you will need to go with Comma.ai, but that is for sure not for everyone. The recent reviews say Comma.ai is way better than Honda programming.

FWIW: the CR-V sensing package is working MUCH better after we had the 'Oil dilution' update.
It latches onto cars in front much better now while driving town with the cruse on (25-40 MPH).

I don't know how to verify what I'm about to say, but the dealer told me during my OD update that big software updates like these often contain smaller undocumented fixes to a number of things to bring systems up to date. It seems reasonable to me (shrug).

Not sure if true or not but my dealer said usually during service they check for any updated software requirements.
