HondaLink won't finish setup

I got a new CRV and can't get the HondaLink to finish setup. The diagnostic is on for it. The HondaLink button tells me to check the app. I go through the setup on the App and it goes back to main screen that says finish setup. Everything is setup normally.

I Literally baught my 2017 crv, 3 days ago.
I traded in my 2016 CR-V, ex, which the HONDALINK NEVER WORKED.
I finally gave up and forgot About it until today.
Today, tried to download HondaLink and I am having trouble logging in. I dont get past view terms and conditions where it says an error has occurred.
Has HONDALINK ever worked?
I never got it to work on my 2016, but spent lots of time Trying.
Is it worth my time?
I have a later apple phone that should be able to handle the app.
Help!!

No, it is not worth your time, and no matter how much effort you spend on it, even if you get it working, it will stop working.

The only Hondas that I've ever seen where Honda link just works have their own built-in mobile connection. It just doesn't work relying on a Bluetooth tether to your phone.
