What's the point? What's to keep this thread from becoming like one of the many review sites where the "honest dealers/sales people" just write reviews of themselves, while pretending to be somebody else?
Given the number of dealers spread across North America, I don't see how this will get much value or traction.Folks,
The term "honest" with respect to car dealer is a subjective one, but if you have bought CRV from a dealer who was straight forward with you from the beginning and did not play tricks with or during the purchase process will you post the dealer name along with state and hopefully with sales man name here ? Please post only if you have made your purchase with them. Hopefully everyone on this forum will benefit from others experience.
Request folks to not post their negative experience on this thread since we all know these experiences are aplenty and we can write a book about them.
Bought my last 2 CRVs that way.i like to do my haggling on the internet, no salesmanager pleading that his kids need new shoes, etc...get it in print on the internet, show up and its all done except for writing the check$
Of course your mean "sales person" right?Folks,

This is how we've bought most of our recent cars - it used to be easier years back when most internet managers were the fleet managers where they mixed the few internet sales with their bulk of fleet sales. Now you get regular sales people assigned to internet duty and they want their commissions.i like to do my haggling on the internet, no salesmanager pleading that his kids need new shoes, etc...get it in print on the internet, show up and its all done except for writing the check$
I agree - there's often lots of variables around what people consider honest. For many if they feel they got a deal then that sets their impression of how honest the sales person was and usually factors such as inventory, time of year and just general pressure and directive from the owners decides how 'honest' a sales person is at that time. What's the point?
Yes I meant sales person, thanks for pointing that out.Of course your mean "sales person" right?
