I have never been in a 16- they may be okay, BUT- when I was researching to pick out a CRV. In the 4th gen group the 2012 and 2016 both had an overall reliability rating of 3/5. The 13, 14, and 15 had a 4/5 rating. The 7, 8, 10, and 11 had 5/5.
This doesn't mean that all 2016 models are bad- it just says there were enough bad ones to wreck the overall score.
