I'm using Android Auto but I think it should be the same. When nav voice is talking turn volume up or down.
Yep it works just like a cell phone. When each feature is putting out audio you need to adjust the volume for that feature.
You can also adjust it by tapping Home > System > Sound/Beep tab > Guidance Volume (pg 93 of the User Manual). It seems to me my touchscreen has a little different menu, something like Home >Settings > Guidance Volume but I can't remember.

This let's us adjust the volume to 11 but that is still very quiet. Is there another volume setting tied to the Navigation that needs to he increased also?

This last week I have been reporting a similar problem with my Feb 2020 CR-V EX model Hybrid.
Just found your earlier posts. Even the dealership now agrees but so far Honda UK has been denying there is a problem. Have you had yours sorted?
Currently getting no response from Honda - possibly due to Lockdown? Meanwhile time is passing and the car hardly being used.

Can't believe that techies at Honda can't simply do a downloadable FIX ????

See here buddy :)
Thx again. Already tried all other previous suggestions both at home and at the dealership. No use.
Just watched the video and been out to the car and tried your newest suggestion to reboot for the first time ---- Sorry - still no change.
I have checked mine from the info from the dark knight and mine is set at 11 which I agree with you is too low
I will raise the issue when our dealer comes back to work
Don't really need the navigation just at the moment
But I do understand how you feel but maybe don't let it become a major issue as you will end up wanting to get rid of your CRV
I did this with the new model Civic in 2006 I joined the forum and everytime someone posted a problem I checked mine and found I had it too
I dont have mine set at the highest volume setting and can hear the Sat Nav instructions just fine.

I wonder if this is something of an issue with Hybrids only then??
It could be
If I can record it I will try and post it on here
Android Auto is so much louder but you told me you don't use that?
Nope I dont use Android Auto. I find it clunky and not very intuitive. I actually prefer the in-built Garmin system as it works fine.

I'm sure many will remember, back in the day, sat nav was restricted to......signs on a lamp post!!!
that was when the man walked in front of you with a flag:)
I have done a recording but I can't upload it

Did you get a response from Honda? I have just bought a Jan 2020 CR-V EX model Hybrid and it has exactly the same problem. Audio Navigation is hopeless if the radio is playing because its volume isn't reduced when a navigation system message is playing (as it used to be with my last CRV).
