Do you not get a tray/cover for that console (like we Brits do)?

I picked up my new 2022 hybrid yesterday and love it... except for the console storage. HATE that part.
Is there anything that will turn that gaping hole under the armrest/cover into some kind of actually useable space? Is there some kind of 4 walled insert that can go in there maybe?
Open to any suggestions!
thanks!
Does it have a monthly plan from a mobile operator? How much do you pay for the hotspot monthly?Netgear LTE hotspot
Do you have some kind of external antenna (for WiFi or LTE), or does it get adequate reception buried in the console?I keep a Netgear LTE hotspot in the lower compartment ...
I agree - it's not as useful as it could be. My old Ridgeline came with a set of dividers for the center console and I was really disappointed to see that the CR-V came with nothing. Also on the Ridge the top (armrest) part opened and had a small compartment for change, business cards, Fastrak transponder, or whatever. The CR-V armrest, however, does nothing except hold up your elbowI picked up my new 2022 hybrid yesterday and love it... except for the console storage. HATE that part.
We get a slide cover over the lower section. At the top level we get one long tray with the arm rest partially covering it so most people who want things quickly accessible but out of site just push them to the back under the arm rest.Do you not get a tray/cover for that console (like we Brits do)?

Yes - will do so tomorrow...Interested to see what yours looks like. Can you post some pics?
It's on an AT&T monthly plan. I believe there are some pre-paid options as well.Does it have a monthly plan from a mobile operator? How much do you pay for the hotspot monthly?
I have both cellular and wifi antennas (I'm a retired RF engineer).Do you have some kind of external antenna (for WiFi or LTE), or does it get adequate reception buried in the console?
Yep, its an "L"-shaped tray.so yours has an enclosed space under the armrest?
You know you can remove the sliding tray, right? Then you just have a big open space. This is for a 2017 - you don't have USB ports down there but the sliding tray is the same. But the trays will end up with stuff on them, often making it a pain to access the space below. I'm not going to shove things into that space under the armrest.
I have exactly the same L-shape tray setup on my 2017 Touring. I keep the tray such that the L shape closes off the compartment under the armrest, even though it can also be flipped and stored to the back of the armrest cubby, laving a nice flat space for a woman's purse.Yep, its an "L"-shaped tray.
Sounds like the antennas are not permanently installed then? At some point I want to put a 2m/440 amateur radio down there. There are several mobile rigs, like the BTech 25x2, that will fit nicely in that space. I'm curious to see how people have routed the cabling and mounted the antenna. I've searched for examples of installations in the CR-V, but there don't seem to be many for Gen5s.I have both cellular and wifi antennas (I'm a retired RF engineer).
...
If in marginal cellular signal areas I sometimes just set it on the roof, if that doesn't work I get out the antennas.
The 2022 Hybrid is different. There are two trays. The forward most one slides and the rear one stays put but can be removed like the front one.We get a slide cover over the lower section. Yes, we are missing that upright wall so it's just one big space running under the arm rest.
