Ok that's a "feature" I didnt know about. Interesting idea but at the same time that has to get annoying if you notice it, which I likely would.

Have to talk to Honda dealership but likely a big "nope".

There's at least one, probably several, threads that discuss de-activating the active noise cancellation feature on the Gen 5 CR-V. Search maybe?

Have managed to disconnect ANC module. Now no more humming noise from speakers when I step on gas pedals.

This module also handles background noise cancellation for the phone... not sure if it's a big difference but the other side of your line may notice (or at least be aware if someone mentions something).

You might want to consider talking to the dealer as this isn't a ubiquitous problem.

You mean it actually does something? Certainly doesn't make it quiet. I know it's there purely from reading about it. But I can't imagine it's actually improving the noise situation. It's still plenty noisy compared to my company Focus.

ANC also is not compatible with aftermarket subs, so it must be removedb in that situation as well.

What about just closing the mic that is above the second row? This works with noise cancellation headphones, once you put your finger on the mic the cancellation is not working anymore.

I put a piece of tape over it but still my subwoofer making noise.
