We only have one remote-control key for our 2013 EX. How difficult/costly is it to get another?

I paid about $200 in 2015 for a new key / fob including programming for our 2012 CRV at the dealer. Not sure if you can get it anywhere but a Honda dealer.

If you live in GTA Toronto I have a friend who does this for a living. Or as what Intruder1500 said the dealer can do it. $200 is actually fair price. If you just want a hard key to open the door you'll have to shell out $35. But it'll be most cost effective to get the whole key with the chip.

I have heard ppl buying a blank fob from ebay, then go to the dealer to program it. But also heard ppl bought wrong fobs or incompatible ones and ended up not able to program it. I would just go to the dealer and let them figure it out and pay them.
