I am planning an installation of some radio equipment, and I can only find the one main grommet on the driver side. This seems too narrow for the additional cabling I need to pass thru. Has anyone had success with such installations?

I am close to drilling a new hole, but would really prefer a less destructive approach.

Drilling a hole isnt destructive at all. The holes the grommets are in are no different. There is no room where factory wiring is ran through to run additional wiring.

It's what I did for my offroad light switch wiring. Just buy proper cable glands with seals and your golden.
