Looking for old thread or any info on how to properly remove the rear seats from a 2005 CRV

Need more room for ice fishing equipment

will take any info

Thanks guys - I found the bolts. Looks like there is a spring involved also. I hope the spring is not a pain when trying to put the back in

Love my little CRV for hauling stuff and plowing around in the snow

Hi uplandar,
-Firstly remove the headrests after folding the seat-back forward.
-Thereafter move the seats all the way back.
-Remove the seat track end covers from the front of both seat tracks.
-Unlock the rear seat and tip it up, then remove the rear seat track end
-Covers from the back of both seat tracks.
-Remove the bolts while holding the seat up.

Last but not least plastic bolt covers popped off easily while prying with a
screwdriver. If you still face the problem you can visit Honda service center.
