Hi all,

I have a question on switching off the navigation system while I am on the move. I haven't been able to find an answer in the user manual.

I have a European executive CRV with the navi system and on occasions, I would like to switch off the navigation system when I don't need to use it anymore. Does anyone know if this is possible and how to do it, apart from switching the car off and on again, or opening the navi screen?

thanks, Geoff

I don't have my CR-V in front of me right now, but I think you can go to the SETUP menu, and click DISPLAY, then Clock and the screen will display whichever clock style you've selected.

Once the clock is displayed, you can turn the screen off completely with an on-screen touch button. I find that I like this "stealth" mode late at night driving on an interstate when I don't care about the time or the GPS screen.

Best regards,

Rod
