Just put in a set of WeathTech lazer cut front floor liners in my '17V...they fit fantastic and the rubber/plastic seems a bit more flexible than the set in my '12V...they are really nice

In the CRV, are there floor mat retainers on both the driver and passenger sides or just the drivers side? Also which aftermarket floor liners take advantage of the retainers?
Only on the driver’s side and I think all aftermarket floor liners take advantage of the retainers. They wouldn’t fit if they didn’t.

I've had mySandstorm Metallic EX-L for a week now and the first thing I replaced was the dealer carpet mats. I found the 3D Maxpider and ordered them from Amazon last week in black. Paid $130 for front and back with a few discounts I had. The mats look exceptional and fit perfectly. They give an upscale appearance since they don't have the customary mat "look" and seem to be of excellent quality.

I just ordered the 3D Maxpider cargo liner yesterday, so I haven't received it yet.

I have Weathertec in my other vehicle, and, will install them in my new '18. A main reaqson is they are made in America.
I put Weathertech in my 2017, they look and fit very well. I'm very happy with them. Made in USA is important to me. I haven't owned or researched any other brands so I can't speak for them. We've had some wintry weather here in Western PA lately and I just noticed today that the mats have kept a lot of crud off my floor and carpet. I keep my cars pretty clean but when it's cold & snowy the floor takes a beating. The Weathertech mats catch it, are easy to clean up & get looking good.

When I got my CR-V the weathertech liners was the first thing I ordered. I ordered the complete set needed for the CR-V. The order total was pricey but now with the winter season and all the salt and dirt that is now on my Weathertech liners. I am so happy with the purchase - worth every cent. I just cleaned my mats today and they look like new. I had weathertech mats for my 02 Accord back in the day and it's 100% quality back then & now.

I also have the Weathertech full set. Was the one accessory purchase that was a have to get since the mats from the dealer were not great.

With the snow and salt here in NJ, it's been great to keep the car clean and save the carpet. Been really happy with the purchase

I ordered the full set of WeatherTech liners (front, rear, cargo lowest position) the day I bought the car last month.

I've used WTs for years in all of our cars and wouldn't hesitate to order again for the CR-V.

If you have kids or pets or are just looking for the best coverage, I would suggest the Tuxmat's from Canada. These came highly recommended when I was looking for mats for my Golf R. I pulled them out of my Golf last week when I washed the car as the weather finally warmed up - there was zero dirt/salt/whatever underneath of them and my carpet was just as clean as it was when I installed them. My wife really liked how they wrapped up and around the floor and under the seats, trim and console. While she initially balked at what I spent for them, when she saw the difference in our carpeting when I pulled her College Hills sourced CRV mats and my Tuxmats, she came around and I bought another set of the Tuxmats for her car. I know from asking about these in another thread that some don't like their appearance, but honestly they don't bother me at all - I bought them to protect the carpet in the winter and not for their looks. There is very little exposed carpeting. The rear wraps up and tucks under the seat with cutouts for the seat hinges. The fronts are able to be tucked under some of the trim as well as the front section of the console. They seem to cover much more than the Weathertech or Husky from what I have seen from the pics posted here. Anyhow, YMMV. I only post to provide another alternative. I bought both sets we have directly from Tuxmat in Canada. I had both orders in my hands here in the USA in 3 days which shocked me.

Sorry for the sun washed pics - I had the late afternoon sun to deal with when snapping pics.

Just installed the 3D Maxpiders. Never heard of the brand, but based on the reviews in this thread, I took a chance. Great fit and they look awesome. Still awaiting the cargo liner though. Wife likes it so much, she now wants me to order a set for my 2010 Outback.

Not a huge difference, but i like the weather techs better. Softer rubber that is not as loud and plasticky feeling. I also feel like because they are not quite as hard the molding and fit are a little better with time as it can shape shift to the car slightly. The huskys are super rigid. Also, i like the fact that weather tech funnels liquids down to a resevoir away from the feet area....
